Stillness: Study 15

This morning, I enjoy the quiet. I am awake before the dings and pings start going off - I enjoy the quiet space of my mornings. As I sit, I breathe in and out. I become aware of my silent space within. I have turned off the chatter. I am at peace and find sweetness within - filling my heart - expanding. I rest in this peace now. I smile, realizing that no matter what situations I face today as the world wakes and I move within to engage with it, can continue to enjoy this peace within; it is always with me.

My heart fills with sweetness, stillness remains.

I exhale and let go. I inhale and oxygen fill my lungs. I exhale and release. I inhale and welcome sweetness as it fills my heart. I am still, and I rest in sweet stillness.

Making a Connection Through Art Journaling

I am posting this short video showing you how I cultivate stillness through art and nature. Enjoy!

Nothing but stillness can remain when hearts are full Of their own sweetness, bodies of their loveliness.
— Lao Tzu
